Knuckles Mountain Range is characterised by its striking landscapes often robed in thick layers of cloud, harbouring a variety of flora and fauna, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. It's rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region.
Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a national park and a biodiversity hotspot. An interesting phenomenon is that birds tend to move in mixed feeding flocks, also out of Sri Lanka's 26 endemic birds, the 20 rainforest species all occur here.
After picking you up from the airport you will be driven to Sigiriya and you will have lunch on the way to Sigiriya and check-in to your hotel in Sigiriya.

First visit is Sigiriya the Rock Fortress, and get the chance to see the sunset from the summit of Sigiriya the Rock Fortress, it will be a great opportunity to take some great photos. The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa I (477–95) lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 180m high (the 'Lion's Rock', which dominates the jungle from all sides). A series of galleries and staircases emerging from the mouth of a gigantic lion constructed of bricks and plaster provide access to the site.Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning and is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.

Next visit is the Minneriya National Park which gives the opportunity to sight herds of Elephants throughout the year. Minneriya National Park is know for the famous Gathering of the wild elephants. Gathering is the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world. Huge herd of elephants, sometimes numbering up to 300. This Elephant Gathering is a thrilling spectacle that would be remembered for rest of the life of all those who were fortunate to witness it. Not only elephants but 23 other mammal species, 170 bird species, and 9 amphibians & 25 reptile species are at the National Park.

After leaving Minneriya National Park you will arrive in Kandy where you will Check-in your Hotel in Kandy. And have Dinner at your hotel or in a restaurant of your choice.

Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya in the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and attracts 2 million visitors annually. Proceed to Adam's Peak after visiting the royal botanical garden. And have an early dinner at restaurant of your choice and get to bed for an early morning departure to climb Adam's Peak around 2:00 AM.
Wake up early morning to climb Adam's Peak (Sri Pada) and see a beautiful sunrise from the summit and enjoy the view all around you and see the sacred footprint.

Get your breakfast packed early morning and will visit to Horton Plains National Park. Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. It is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. The Horton Plains are the headwaters of three major Sri Lankan rivers, the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. In Sinhala the plains are known as Maha Eliya Plains.
Have Lunch at a restaurant of your choice after arriving in Nuwara Eliya.
Get to see the hillside city of Nuwara Eliya and Lake Gregory with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. Take pictures, enjoy a walk around the lake and join in with a few activities around Nuwara Eliya and enjoy and take in the breathtaking environment all around you before leaving back to Kandy
Proceed to Nanu-Oya Railway station for the train ride to Ella Railway Station, where you will be picked up. While in the train enjoy the view of the hill country while traveling in the observation cart.

First visit will be the Sinharaja Rain forest. Sinharaja is the country's last viable area of primary tropical rainforest. More than 60% of the trees are endemic and many of them are considered rare. There is much endemic wildlife, especially birds, but the reserve is also home to over 50% of Sri Lanka's endemic species of mammals and butterflies, as well as many kinds of insects, reptiles and rare amphibians.
