You will leave Colombo city by going to Colombo Train station to leave to Peradeniya, Kandy and you will be picked up at Peradinya Railway Station, Kandy.

Lets enjoy the morning by visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya in the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka which attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.

Get to see the breathtaking Esala Perahera (the festival of the tooth) which is the grand festival of Esala held in Sri Lanka. It is very grand with elegant costumes. It is a Buddhist festival consisting of dances and colourfully decorated elephants. There are fire-dances, whip-dances, Kandyan dances and various other cultural dances. The elephants are usually adorned with lavish garments. The festival ends with the traditional 'diya-kepeema'.
First visit will be Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka. A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings (covering an area of 2,100 m2 ) are of particular importance, as are the 157 statues.

Next stop will be at Habarana for a village tour. You will be taken around the village on a Bullock cart. And after seeing how a typical village functions you get to have a complimentary lunch at the village. And after lunch you will proceed to Inamaluwa Gem Museum.

Next stop is Sigiriya the Rock Fortress, and get the chance to see the sunset from the summit of Sigiriya the Rock Fortress, it will be a great opportunity to take some great photos. The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa I (477–95) lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 180m high (the 'Lion's Rock', which dominates the jungle from all sides). A series of galleries and staircases emerging from the mouth of a gigantic lion constructed of bricks and plaster provide access to the site.Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning and is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.

After checking-out from your hotel your first visit will be the Millennium Elephant Foundation and get an opportunity to ride on an elephant ride, give elephant a bath, and get an elephant to give you a shower while riding it. Next get to visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. Pinnawalla is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2011, there were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.
