13 Night 14 Day Tour
Daphne tours present you a captivating 14 day tour covering the most dazzling places in Sri Lanka. Starting from the down south, we do boat safaris, relax in the beautiful beaches and then to Galle to visit the Dutch fort and a turtle hatchery. We then move to Udawalawe, on a safari to watch elephants and other wild animals in the national park. Along the way we watch beautiful waterfalls in the hill country.
We take the picturesque train to Ella and visit the Nine Arches Bridge. We then move in to hill Capital Kandy watch traditional dances and visit a tea estate. We then move to the central plain and the ancient kingdoms climb the famous Sigiriya rock and taste the traditional Sri Lanka village. We then move to Polonnaruwa to view the second ancient kingdom of the country. We then travel to the east coast, Trincomalee to relax, dive and spend a couple of days in one of the most picturesque beaches in the island.

Day 02 – Negombo – Galle
Madu River Boat Safari
Glide through the tranquil waters of the Madu River, surrounded by lush mangroves and rich biodiversity. As you cruise, keep an eye out for colorful birds, water monitors, and even crocodiles that call this ecosystem home. The boat ride takes you past tiny islands, each with its own unique charm and history.
Galle Fort and Dutch Church
Step back in time as you wander through the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, a 17th-century colonial masterpiece built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. Explore its cobbled streets, historic ramparts, charming cafés, and boutique shops, while soaking in the stunning coastal views. Visit the Galle Dutch Church, one of the oldest Protestant churches in Sri Lanka, featuring Dutch tombstones and antique wooden pews.
Turtles Hatchery
Visit a sea turtle conservation center, where you’ll see and learn about the stunning species of turtles found in Sri Lanka’s waters and also about efforts to protect and rehabilitate endangered sea turtles. Get a chance to see baby turtles ready to be released into the ocean and gain insight into how these hatcheries contribute to marine conservation.

Day 03 - Galle – Udawalawe
Elephant Transit Home
Visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, a renowned wildlife conservation center dedicated to rehabilitating orphaned elephants before releasing them back into the wild. Located near Udawalawe National Park, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe young elephants up close in a responsible and ethical environment. End the day with an exciting wildlife safari at Udawalawe National Park, home to hundreds of wild elephants, deer, water buffalo, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Hop into a 4x4 safari jeep and explore the vast grasslands and open plains, where you’ll have fantastic opportunities to spot wildlife up close.

Day 04 – Udawalawe - Ella
Diyaluma Waterfall
Visit Sri Lanka’s second-highest waterfall, a stunning 220-meter cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Take a short hike to the upper falls, where you can relax in natural infinity pools while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Visit Rawana Falls
A breathtaking three-tiered cascade, Rawana Falls is one of the most scenic waterfalls in Sri Lanka, located amidst dense forests and rocky cliffs. Enjoy the sight of the water gushing down from 25 meters high, and take some time to appreciate the serene natural surroundings.
Nine Arches Bridge

Relax and take a walk around Nuwara Eliya City
End your day with a visit to the charming city of Nuwara Eliya, often called "Little England" due to its colonial-style architecture, cool climate, and beautiful gardens. Stroll around Gregory Lake, admire the vibrant flower gardens, and explore landmarks like the Queen’s Cottage, Post Office, and Victoria Park. Day 08 – Nuwara Eliya – Kandy
Visit Damro Tea Garden and Tea Factory
Experience Sri Lanka’s world-famous Ceylon tea at Damro Tea Garden, one of the country’s oldest and most renowned tea estates. Day 09 – Kandy
Kandy Royal Botanical Garden
The tour of the famous city of kandy starts off with the Royal Botanical Gardens, which is located in the peaceful suburbs of Peradeniya. Spread over 147 acres this beautiful garden is home to 4000 species of plants which includes orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees which are spread all over the whole garden. The first destination will certainly give you a wonderful experience as to what Kandy has to offer!
Temple of the Tooth Relic
The Temple of the Tooth, named after the only surviving relic of Buddha is one of the main landmarks within the city of Kandy. The Temple stands next to the Kandy lake in a calm and picturesque manner and is renowned as a sacred location in the heart of Kandy. Daily ritual worship services are conducted by Monks in the inner chamber of the Temple of Tooth three times a day; at dawn, at noon and at sundown. On Wednesdays, a symbolic bathing of the Sacred Relic is held in the Temple of Tooth with an herbal preparation made from scented water and fragrant flowers, called Nanumura Mangallaya.
Witness the colorful Kandyan Dance Duration
The Kandyan dance is one of the many colourful artworks which were originated within the country of Sri Lanka. Native to the City of Kandy also known as “Udarata”, Kandyan dancing consists of Ves dancers, who engage in the beautiful artistry of dancing in a unique manner, creating their own music through drums and other instruments. The choreography consists of many acrobatic moves which the dancers perform while staying true to their roots.

Day 10 – Kandy – Dambulla – Sigiriya
Dambulla Cave Temple
Begin your adventure with a visit to Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave temple complex. Sigiriya Village Tour Duration
