Join with us on a Magical tour of 8 days across Sri Lanka. We present you a Historical, cultural & nature packed tour starting from Sigirya. We climb the famous Sigiriya rock, taste the traditional Sri Lanak village, watch traditional dances and visit a tea estate in the hill country. We take the picturesque train to Ella and visit the Nine Arches Bridge.
 
We then move to Udawalawe, on a safari to watch elephants and other wild animals in the national park. Along the way we watch beautiful waterfalls in the hill country. We then move to the south coast of Sri Lanka, Galle to visit the Dutch fort and a turtle hatchery. We then relax in the mirrissa beach.
  • Day 01 – Colombo Airport – Negombo
    We pickup the guests from Colombo Airport and drop to a hotel of your choosing in Negombo.
  • Pidurangala Rock
    Pidurangala is a massive rock formation located a few kilometers north of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka. It has an interesting history closely related to that of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climbing to the top of Pidurangala Rock is more strenuous than climbing Sigiriya. If you are fit and adventurous it is a climb worth making. It will take you about two hours. There is far less to see on this site than Sigiriya.
    Sigiriya Village Tour
    Stop at Sigiriya for a village tour. You will be taken around the village on a Bullock cart to witness how a typical village function. A boat ride will follow the bullock cart ride. You may enjoy paddling a boat on a lake that will get you to the other side of the village. After getting to know traditional way of lives of people, you will be invited to have a complimentary lunch at the village.
    Sigirya Rock Fortress
    Climb Sigirya Rock Fortress in the evening. It will be a great opportunity to view the spectacular sunset from the top of the Rock and capture some great photos. The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa I (477–95) lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 180m high (the 'Lion's Rock', which dominates the jungle from all sides). A series of galleries and staircases emerging from the mouth of a gigantic lion constructed of bricks and plaster provide access to the site. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning and is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka.
  • Dambulla Cave Temple
    Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 km east of Colombo and 72 km north of Kandy. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Lord Buddha and his life. There total of 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of gods and goddesses. The latter include two statues of Hindu gods, the god Vishnu and the god Ganesh.
    Temple of the Tooth Relic
    The Temple of the Tooth, or Sri Dalada Maligawa, located in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, was built within the royal palace complex, which houses the only surviving relic of Buddha, which is venerated by Buddhists. The relic, which situated in the Temple of the Tooth Relic, played an important role in local politics since ancient times. It is believed that whoever holds the Temple of the Tooth Relic holds the governance of the country, which naturally caused the ancient kinds to protect the Temple of the Tooth with great effort. Kandy was the capital of the Sinhalese kings. Monks conduct daily ritual worship in the inner chamber of the Temple of Tooth. They conduct these services three times a day; at dawn, at noon and in the evening. On Wednesdays a symbolic bathing of the Sacred Relic is held in the Temple of tooth with an herbal preparation made from scented water and fragrant flowers, called Nanumura Mangallaya.
    Witness the colorful Kandyan Dance
    According to the legend, the origins of the dance lies in an exorcism ritual known as the Kohomba Kankariya, which was originally performed by Indian shamans who came to the island. According to legend, the Indian shamans came to the island upon the request of a king who was suffering from a mysterious illness. The king was said to be suffering from a recurring dream in which a leopard was directing its tongue towards the king, believed to be as black magic of "Kuweni" the first wife of the king "Vijaya". After the performance of the Kohomba Kankariya the illness vanished, and thereafter many natives adopted the dance.
    Kandy Lake – Take a cool walk around Kandy Lake
    Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is a beautiful artificial lake located in the heart of Kandy, Sri Lanka. Taking a leisurely walk around Kandy Lake is a popular activity for both tourists and locals alike.

    Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and the eleventh tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th tallest waterfall in the world.
    Visit Damro Tea Garden and Tea Factory – on the way to Nuwara Eliya
    Visit Damro Tea Factory and get to see up close how tea is processed. Refresh yourself with a cup of tea. Also get to enjoy the scenic tea estates stretching across the mountains.
    Relax and take a walk around Nuwara Eliya City
    Nuwara Eliya, situated at an elevation of around 1,868 meters (6,128 feet) above sea level, boasts a temperate climate that distinguishes it from the rest of the island nation. The city's cool and refreshing weather, with temperatures averaging around 15°C (59°F), has made it a popular escape from the tropical heat of the lowlands. This climate also provides an ideal environment for tea cultivation, and the region is renowned for its lush tea estates, which contribute to the island's world-famous Ceylon tea.
  • Ride on the train from Nanuoya to Ella
    The train ride from Ella to Nanu Oya is one of the most scenic journeys in Sri Lanka, offering breathtaking views of lush tea plantations, misty mountains, waterfalls, and charming rural villages. This stretch is a highlight of the famous Kandy–Ella railway line, often considered one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world.
    Nine Arches Bridge
    The Nine Arches Bridge also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. It is located in Demodara, between Ella and Demodara railway stations.
    Visit Little Adam's Peak
    Little Adam's Peak, also known as "Punchi Sri Pada," is a popular hiking destination in Ella, Sri Lanka. It's named for its resemblance to the sacred Adam's Peak (Sri Pada), although it is much smaller and easier to climb. This scenic trek offers stunning views of lush green tea plantations, rolling hills, and dramatic mountain landscapes.

    Ravana Falls, also known as Rawana Falls, is a stunning waterfall located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka.     Diyaluma Waterfall
    Visit Diyaluma waterfall, one of the most stunning natural attractions in Sri Lanka. It is located in the Badulla district, approximately 6 kilometers away from the town of Koslanda. The waterfall is a part of the Koslanda-Ella jungle area and is formed by the Punagala Oya, a tributary of the Kuda Oya.
    Udawalawe National Park (Evening Safari)
    Sri Lanka's Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces borders are shared by Udawalawe National Park. The Park was established to protect the catchment of the reservoir and to offer a sanctuary for wild creatures driven from their natural habitat by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River. The reserve was formed on June 30, 1972, and it has a total land size of 30,821 hectares (119,00 sq mi). The region was utilized for shifting agriculture, or "chena farming" prior to its classification as a national park. Once the national park was established, the farmers gradually disappeared. 165 kilometers (103 miles) separate Colombo from the park. Elephants from Sri Lanka and water birds both depend on Udawalawe as a habitat. It is a well-liked vacation spot, and the third-most visited park in the country.
  • Galle Fort and Dutch Church Duration
    An important historical construction situated in Galle Fort. The construction work of this building was carried on under the supervision of Mr. Abraham Antonius the superintendent of the carpenters who were engaged in ship building at the Galle harbor. This Church bas built at the expense of Mr. Casparis Jong, Galle Commandeer as a thanks offering to God in celebration of the birth of a daughter to his daughter who had that child after a long time. This Church is built on a cross shaped base according to the architecture in building Dutch Churches. Therefore, this church in known as "Cross Church".
    Turtles Hatchery
    Sri Lanka's fame for turtle hatcheries is a testament to its commitment to protecting and conserving its rich marine biodiversity, including its endangered sea turtle populations. These hatcheries serve as important hubs for conservation, education, and tourism, contributing to both the preservation of sea turtles and the sustainable development of coastal communities.
    Mirissa Beach
    (Spend the rest of the day relaxing at one of the finest beaches)

  • Day 08 – Mirissa – Colombo Airport drop.
    We transfer the guests to Colombo Airport in time for departure flight.
