The famous rock fortress of Sigiriya and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Kandy, are must-see places. The package is originally designed for 09 nights/10 days. Day 01 – Colombo Airport – Sigiriya
Sigirya Rock Fortress
Climb one of the most iconic landmarks in Sri Lanka, the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This 5th-century marvel, built by King Kashyapa, is often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Ascend through the giant lion’s paws, marvel at the famous Sigiriya frescoes, and walk along the ancient mirror wall, where inscriptions from centuries past still remain. Once at the summit, explore the ruins of the king’s palace while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle and villages as the sun sets on the first day of your tour.
Sigiriya Village Tour
Step back in time and experience traditional Sri Lankan rural life. Travel through a scenic village by bullock cart, a mode of transport still used by locals. Then, hop on a catamaran boat for a relaxing ride across a beautiful lake, surrounded by lush paddy fields and wildlife. Visit a village home local, where you’ll get a hands-on experience of authentic Sri Lankan cooking using traditional clay pots and firewood. Savor a delicious homemade meal served on a banana leaf, prepared with fresh, organic ingredients.
Ayurvedic Spa and sign off day's activities

Day 02 – Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya
Visit Polonnaruwa Ancient City Ruins
Wander through the well-preserved ruins of Polonnaruwa, once the thriving capital of Sri Lanka in the 11th and 12th centuries. Admire the majestic Royal Palace complex, Gal Vihara’s iconic rock-cut Buddha statues, intricately carved stupas, and ancient reservoirs that highlight the architectural and engineering brilliance of the era.

Day 03 – Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy
Dambulla Cave Temple
Begin your adventure with a visit to Sri Lanka’s largest and best-preserved cave temple complex. The Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO-listed site, features over 150 Buddha statues and stunning murals dating back over 2,000 years. As you enter the temple, marvel at the intricately painted ceilings and serene Buddha statues carved into the cave walls. The peaceful ambiance and spiritual significance make this a must-visit landmark.
Spice Garden
Step into the fragrant world of Sri Lanka’s renowned spices with a visit to a Dambulla Spice Garden. Nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle, these lush gardens offer a sensory journey through the country’s rich spice heritage, where you’ll discover the origins, benefits, and traditional uses of some of the world’s most sought-after spices.
Kandy Royal Botanical Garden
Next stop is the Royal Botanical Gardens, which is located in the peaceful suburbs of Peradeniya. Spread over 147 acres this beautiful garden is home to 4000 species of plants which includes orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees which are spread all over the whole garden. The first destination will certainly give you a wonderful experience as to what Kandy has to offer!
Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue
Sri Lanka is a prominent country for its buddhist culture, among many other cultures hence to give you a proper experience of the culture, we will head to the Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha statue. This statue is located in the heart of Kandy, overlooking the vibrant city. One of the tallest statues of Buddha in the Island, this statue showcases Lord Buddha in a seated meditative posture. You will be able to climb to the top of the statue via a staircase, and also catch a glimpse of the wonderful skyline of Kandy.
Temple of the Tooth Relic
The Temple of the Tooth, named after the only surviving relic of Buddha is one of the main landmarks within the city of Kandy. The Temple stands next to the Kandy lake in a calm and picturesque manner and is renowned as a sacred location in the heart of Kandy. Daily ritual worship services are conducted by Monks in the inner chamber of the Temple of Tooth three times a day; at dawn, at noon and at sundown. On Wednesdays, a symbolic bathing of the Sacred Relic is held in the Temple of Tooth with an herbal preparation made from scented water and fragrant flowers, called Nanumura Mangallaya.
Witness the colorful Kandyan Dance
The Kandyan dance is one of the many colourful artworks which were originated within the country of Sri Lanka. Native to the City of Kandy also known as “Udarata”, Kandyan dancing consists of Ves dancers, who engage in the beautiful artistry of dancing in a unique manner, creating their own music through drums and other instruments. The choreography consists of many acrobatic moves which the dancers perform while staying true to their roots.
Take a cool walk around Kandy Lake
With the evening breeze and as the sun begins to set for the day, a peaceful walk around the Kandy lake will just add the finishing touches to an eventful day in the Kandy city. This walk will help you unwind, surrounded by the calming lake while you witness the beauty of this sacred city!

Day 04 – Kandy – Kegalle – Kandy
Wood Carving Factory
Discover the timeless artistry of Sri Lankan wood carving with a visit to a traditional wood carving factory in Kandy. This experience offers a fascinating insight into the skill and dedication required to create intricate wooden masterpieces, from finely detailed sculptures to beautifully handcrafted furniture.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Explore the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to one of the largest captive elephant herds in Sri Lanka. Observe baby elephants being bottle-fed and see the entire herd as they make their way to the river for their daily bath. This sanctuary provides a rare chance to witness elephant behavior in a semi-natural setting.

Day 05 – Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
Ambuluwawa Tower
Stretch your legs with a visit to Ambuluwawa Tower, one of Sri Lanka’s most unique landmarks. Perched atop a mountain, this multi-religious monument offers a thrilling climb with 360-degree panoramic views of lush greenery, misty mountains, and distant valleys. The spiraling staircase of the tower is an adventure in itself, rewarding you with an unmatched scenic experience at the top.
Ramboda Falls
Next, witness the breathtaking beauty of Ramboda Falls, a 109-meter-high cascading waterfall surrounded by dense forest. This stunning natural wonder is one of Sri Lanka's highest waterfalls, creating a mesmerizing sight as the water crashes into the rocks below. Visit Damro Tea Garden and Tea Factory

Day 06 – Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains – Ella

Visit Little Adam's Peak
Enjoy a refreshing hike to Little Adam’s Peak, an easily accessible summit that offers stunning views of Ella’s rolling hills, deep valleys, and tea-covered slopes. The 30-40 minute climb is suitable for all fitness levels, making it a perfect way to connect with nature while soaking in a spectacular sunrise or sunset over the mountains.
Nine Arches Bridge

Day 07 – Ella – Wellawaya – Udawalawe
Visit Ravana Falls
A breathtaking three-tiered cascade, Ravana Falls is one of the most scenic waterfalls in Sri Lanka, located amidst dense forests and rocky cliffs. Enjoy the sight of the water gushing down from 25 meters high, and take some time to appreciate the serene natural surroundings.
Diyaluma Waterfall
Visit Sri Lanka’s second-highest waterfall, a stunning 220-meter cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Take a short hike to the upper falls, where you can relax in natural infinity pools while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Buduruwagala Raja Maha Viharaya
Step into the heart of Sri Lanka’s ancient Buddhist heritage with a visit to Buduruwagala Raja Maha Viharaya. Nestled in a serene forest setting, this site is home to Sri Lanka’s tallest rock-cut Buddha statue and a collection of stunning carvings that date back to the 9th or 10th century. The name "Buduruwagala" translates to "rock of Buddhist sculptures," perfectly capturing the essence of this historic site.
Udawalawe National Park

Elephant Transit Home
Visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, a renowned wildlife conservation center dedicated to rehabilitating orphaned elephants before releasing them back into the wild. Located near Udawalawe National Park, this sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to observe young elephants up close in a responsible and ethical environment. Yala National Park
Evening Safari
Explore Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserve, home to the highest density of leopards in the world. Along with these elusive big cats, you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a variety of other wildlife roaming through the park’s grasslands, lagoons, and dense forests.

Day 09 – Yala – Galle
Turtles Hatchery
Visit a sea turtle conservation center, where you’ll see earn about the stunning species of turtles found in Sri Lanka’s waters and also about efforts to protect and rehabilitate endangered sea turtles. Get a chance to see baby turtles ready to be released into the ocean and gain insight into how these hatcheries contribute to marine conservation.
Galle Fort and Dutch Church
Step back in time as you wander through the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, a 17th-century colonial masterpiece built by the Portuguese and later fortified by the Dutch. Explore its cobbled streets, historic ramparts, charming cafés, and boutique shops, while soaking in the stunning coastal views. Visit the Galle Dutch Church, one of the oldest Protestant churches in Sri Lanka, featuring Dutch tombstones and antique wooden pews.
