After a lot of research for tour guides I am so glad I chose Daphne Tour Operators. They offered to organise all of my hotels, excursions and basically plan the whole trip, but had the flexibility to support and assist with where I wanted to go and stay, as I’d already chosen our hotels.
The tour price was very competitive and represented excellent value because it included airport collection / drop off, all transfers around the country, excursion trips and transport to and from restaurants in the evening, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY it meant we had RAVI, our driver for 9 days.

We were recommended Daphne tour operators by a friend. From start to finish they were absolutely amazing. I contacted them from the UK and they planned our intinery to perfection, the communication was great. We arrived in Kandy where our adventure began, Ravi and his son Shaun were the perfect hosts - the vehicle was immaculate and spacious. They knew all the perfect places to take us whether it was for food or a different waterfall hidden in the hills, water rafting, village tour, caving to a hidden lagoon, every single experience felt like a personalised adventure!! We spent a week travelling around Kandy, Ella, and Udawalawe and couldn’t have asked for better people to do it with. Memories to last a lifetime. We can’t thank them enough. Amazing Sri Lanka -
As soon as we met Ravi on our second trip to Sri Lanka we knew we were in good hands. His time keeping and driving were meticulous and we felt very safe. He was also courteous, polite and understanding of what we wanted from the holiday. He would drive us to a swimming spot and wait in the mini bus for us to return to the hotel without making us feel guilty for staying for a beer on the beach.

We spent a three-week holiday in Sri Lanka this summer and combined cultural
progamme with surf and beach holidays. This way we spent a whole week with
Ravi, he picked us up in Kandy where we visited different places for two days
before he drove us to Siggiriya Rock, Dambulla temple, an aryuveda treatment
and an elephant Safari at Kaudulla National Park. We also stopped at a herbs
and spice garden. After another stop in Kandy he took us water rafting and to
a tea plantation. ...

Ravi couldn’t have made our time in Sri Lanka more special. He was so accommodating and kind, always drove very safely and really made an effort to show us places we wouldn’t have seen if he wasn’t with us!
Ravi has so much knowledge and was happy to share interesting facts, advice for Sri Lanka travel and he always willing to stop and make sure we got the most amazing views!
Our second experience was great as well - Iran
We had been to Srilanka in 2016 and Daphne managed everything very well. We decided to travel to Sri lanka again this September and with no doubt our choice was Daphne again. Everything went very well and our itinerary was perfect. Same as last time Ravi accompanied us, he is a wonderful guy.
Unbelievable Honeymoon -
After researching online for a honeymoon spot, my husband and I were set on Sri Lanka as it seemed to embody the best of both worlds, wild nature and tropical beach. With a destination procured, Daphne Tours helped make a singular trip into an unforgettable experience. From the start, Johnson crafted an itinerary that had us exploring the depths of Sri Lanka in a way we would not have been able to without his help. Upon arrival, Ravi, our tour guide and driver, did more than we could have imagined to show us that Sri Lanka is a vibrant and stunning beauty: the lively streets of Colombo, roaring tracks to Nuwara Eliya, sun kissed beaches of Trincomalee, the wilderness of Habarana, and the festivity of Kandy are all special moments we won’t be able to ever forget.

We just came back from our amazing holiday in Sri Lanka. I initially contacted 3 different tour operators but Daphne tours stood out because Johnson was approachable and accommodating of our multiple requests. He was patient and prompt in his reponses. The price was fair and all excursions were arranged and prepaid.
We were a group of 4 and spent 2 weeks touring the majority of the country with Ravi. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and had a good command of English. We felt like we were part of his family and met his wife and children in our stop in Kandy. Ravi was always on time and the mini-van was always clean.
We have created many memories and will always remember this experience! Do not hesitate to book through Daphne tours!

My girlfriend and I planned on spending two weeks in Sri Lanka and I contacted multiple tour operators to get an idea of suggested itineraries and to compare rough costs.
Daphne Tours were extremely prompt, efficient and professional throughout the whole experience pre-holiday and this theme continued throughout our most enjoyable Sri Lanka visit. Johnson was excellent in quickly sending over a bespoke itinerary which covered everything (and more) of the sights and experiences we were looking for, and importantly, at a lower price than their competitors. He catered for any tweaks in the plan very quickly and was patient with any indecision or confusion on our part! His knowledge of the island and the 'must sees' was invaluable in making the holiday even better than we had hoped for.
